"I was spending $400/week on gas alone in my old car. Now I spend a fraction of that on charging and my riders love the Tesla experience. My tips went up 30% the first week."James Walker

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before getting started.
How do I sign up?
Getting started takes less than 5 minutes. Apply online at driveatrium.com, call us at (385) 204-4272, or send us an email. You'll need a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, proof of address, proof of rideshare (an active rideshare or delivery account), and a credit or debit card for the $300 refundable deposit. Must be 21 or older. No credit checks required. Most drivers are approved same day and can pick up their Tesla within 24 hours. Hours: Monday–Friday, 11 AM – 6 PM.
What are the requirements to rent?
You must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, proof of address, proof of rideshare (an active rideshare or delivery driver account), and a credit or debit card for the $300 refundable deposit. That's it — no credit checks and no complicated paperwork.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and standard payment methods through our secure system.
What is the security deposit?
We require a fully refundable $300 security deposit to get started. The deposit is held on your card and returned in full when you return the vehicle, minus any incidental charges. No hidden fees, no surprises.
Do I need my own insurance?
Yes. We don't provide insurance — every renter needs a current, active personal auto insurance policy with at least your state's minimum liability coverage, and you must meet the insurance requirements of the rideshare or delivery platforms you drive for. Proof of insurance is required before pickup and must stay valid for the length of your rental.
How much does it cost per week?
Weekly rates start at $375 for a 2018–2019 Model 3, $399 for a 2020–2021, $425 for a 2022–2023, and $549 for the 2026 Model Y. Every rental includes maintenance and unlimited personal mileage; drivers cover their own charging, which costs a fraction of gas. Drivers provide their own personal auto insurance. Full Self-Driving and premium features are available on select vehicles. Most drivers earn $1,500–$2,000 per week, well above the rental cost. Ask about Switch & Save (code SWITCH — $50 off each of your first 4 weeks when you switch from another rental company) and our loyalty perk: after 12 consecutive weeks, your 13th week is $100 off.
Are there any hidden fees?
None. Unlike big corporate rental companies that pile on surcharges, processing fees, and insurance upsells, our pricing is transparent and straightforward. One weekly price covers everything. The only additional cost is Supercharging, which is billed directly to you through Tesla at real-time rates — far cheaper than gas.
How many miles are included?
Every rental comes with a weekly mileage allowance built for full-time rideshare and delivery driving — plus unlimited personal mileage. Ask us about your vehicle when you apply.
What platforms can I drive for?
Every major platform — Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart, Spark, and more. Our vehicles are approved for all rideshare and delivery services, so you can maximize your earnings across multiple apps.
What car do I get?
We rent Tesla Model 3 Long Range and Model Y Long Range vehicles. Our fleet ranges from 2018 to 2026 models. Features like Full Self-Driving, tinted windows, and premium connectivity vary by vehicle — ask us which cars have what when you apply.
How do I charge the car?
You'll have access to the full Tesla Supercharger network and we provide a 120V home charger so you can top up overnight. Supercharging costs are billed directly to you at Tesla's real-time rates — which are a fraction of what you'd spend on gas. This is where drivers save the most money compared to traditional rentals.
Can I add an additional driver?
Yes, you can add an additional driver who is not listed on your personal auto insurance policy, such as a friend instead of a spouse or family member. This allows them to drive the rental vehicle for $25/day (they must be added to the rental agreement). The additional driver must meet the same rental requirements as the primary driver.
Where do I pick up my car?
Pickup is at our location in Provo, Utah — 470 N 900 E. We serve drivers across Salt Lake City, Provo, and Orem. We'll work with you to find a convenient pickup time.
What is your cancellation policy?
There are no cancellation fees for reservations canceled more than 72 hours prior to delivery or pick-up. Cancellations within 72 hours of the reservation will be penalized with 25% of the reservation total. Your $300 deposit is fully refundable upon return of the vehicle.
What if I need roadside assistance?
We've got your back. If you run into any issues on the road, contact us and we'll take care of it. Our drivers are our priority — as one of our reviews says, we've replaced a car at midnight when a driver needed us.
